I. Eligibility
      1. General Requirements
      (1) Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, friendly to China, have no criminal record, and be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport;
      (2) Applicants must possess a high school diploma or above;
      2. Language Proficiency Requirements
      (1) Chinese-taught Programs
         Applicants must pass the HSK Level 4 examination (score of 210 or above); Applicants with the highest level of education taught in Chinese are exempt from providing an HSK certificate, but must provide proof of the language of instruction.
      (2) English-taught Programs
 Applicants whose native language is English are exempt from providing English language proficiency certificates. Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 or above.

     II . Catalogue of Study Programs 

      2.1 Chinese language programs:  
      Short-term study: one month, three months or six months
      Term begins: March or September. 
      2.2 Undergraduate program: 4 years for Bachelor’s degree 
      Term begins in September. Both bachelor’s degree and graduation certificate will be awarded after passing all exams and finishing the thesis.

      III. Application Documents
      1. Personal information page of the passport (regular personal passport valid beyond October 31, 2019).
      2. High school diploma or pre-graduation certificate (the pre-graduation certificate must be stamped with the school seal, indicating the expected graduation date, and the graduation certificate must be obtained before September 2019).
      3. Transcript of all high school courses .
      4. Language proficiency certificate (the certificate should be valid, usually for a period of 2 years).
      5. Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
      6. Certificate of No Criminal Record.
      Applicants must submit a Certificate of No Criminal Record within the validity period issued by the local public security management department, usually within 6 months prior to the application date.
      7. Age: from 18-year-old to 55-year-old.
      8. Identity requirements: applicants who immigrated from China (the Mainland), or Hong Kong, or Macao, or Taiwan, as foreign students, must comply with the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education of China.
      IV. Application Time
      1. Undergraduate program: March 10 to June 10.
      2. The Chinese language programs: the application is open year-round.
      V. Fees
      1. Tuition: CNY 20000/year
      2. Accommodation: CNY 20000/year
      3. Medical insurance fee: 
      According to the regulations of the Chinese Ministry of Education, international students coming to China must purchase medical insurance within China. The medical insurance fee is  CNY 800 /year/person, to be borne by the student themselves. Insurance website: https://lxbx.net/home 
      VI. Application Instruction
      1. All uploaded documents must be in Chinese or English. If the documents are in other languages, the original document and a certified translation in English or Chinese must be uploaded together. Please use a scanner to scan the relevant documents in color, as documents taken with mobile phones or cameras, as well as photocopies, will not be accepted. Except for the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" and personal signatures, handwritten documents will not be accepted.
      2. Our university and the admissions department have the right to request some applicants to provide the original paper version/notarized documents of the application materials or authentication documents issued by designated certification agencies for further verification.
      3. Applicants are required to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the provided application information and materials. If the admissions unit or the certification department verifies that the information is untrue, the applicant's application, admission, or enrollment qualification will be canceled.
      VII. Visa
      Admitted students must bring the electronic version of the admission letter and the Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate Abroad to apply for a study visa. International students studying in China for up to 6 months should apply for an X2 visa. Those studying for more than 6 months should apply for an X1 visa and apply for a residence permit within 30 days after arriving in China.
