In order to implement the spirit of national development strategy with countries along “one belt, one road” initiative, SXU attempted to deepen the cooperation with Malaysia's universities. During October 17-19, receiving the invitation from the Malaysian universities, Professor Fan Suhua, Secretary of Party Committee of SXU, led a delegation to visit UCSI, Taylor's University, UiTM, and New Era University.
Prof. Fan Suhua held friendly talks with the top leaders of Malaysian universities and signed the memorandums of cooperation to promote discipline construction, talent training and the postgraduate program. During the visiting, Prof. Fan and her delegation especially went to see Mr Maliwen, a graduate from the school of Commerce of SXU and now a doctoral student in Taylor's University, and Ma Liwen asked the delegation to convey his sincere greetings and thanks to SXU for cultivating him four years and providing him with a platform to achieve today's achievements.
This visit to Malaysia is positive to promote the deeper and more substantive friendly cooperation and exchange between SXU and Malaysian universities, as well as to improve the level of internationalization of SXU.
