On the afternoon of May 29, 2025, an online cooperation meeting between Shandong Xiehe University (SXU) and S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (KATRU) was successfully held. Representatives from KATRU included Ms. Saltanat Kaliyeva, Ms. Aliya, and other relevant officials from the KATRU International Office. SXU was represented by Mr. Charlie ZHOU, Director of the International Office; Ms. Betty Niu, Vice Director of the International Office; and assistants Alice, Anna, Claire, and Danee.
         The meeting commenced with both universities introducing their respective comprehensive profiles. Subsequently, the discussions focused on potential collaboration, with in-depth talks on various cooperative directions such as student semester exchanges, short-term study programs, faculty visits, and academic exchanges. Both sides thoroughly exchanged views on future cooperation prospects and reached multiple agreements. They unanimously agreed to further expand substantive cooperation and exchange in the field of education, aiming to create richer and more diverse international exchange opportunities and educational resources for faculty members and students of both institutions. This joint effort is intended to elevate the internationalization standards of both universities to a new level. Before concluding the talks, SXU sincerely invited representatives from KATRU to visit at their earliest convenience.
         The successful execution of this online meeting has brought fresh impetus and momentum to the collaboration between the two universities. Taking this meeting as a starting point, both parties will continue to deepen their cooperation, adhering to the principles of openness, inclusiveness, and mutual benefit. They are committed to working together on the path of internationalizing higher education, striving diligently to cultivate high-quality talents with global vision and international competitiveness.
