On the morning of October 29th, a delegation from Russian Kazan State Power Engineering University (KSPEU), led by its President Prof. Aбдуллазянов Эдвард Юнусович, visited our university. Professor Wang Guiyun, Vice President Professor Hu Hengji, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science Wang Qun, and relevant responsible persons from the International Office attended the meeting. Both sides held in-depth discussions on educational cooperation and joint talent cultivation.
At the meeting, Professor Wang Guiyun extended a warm welcome to the delegation from KSPEU. She introduced our university's educational characteristics, the general situation of international cooperation and exchanges, as well as the remarkable achievements made in recent years in education, teaching, and scientific research. President Aбдуллазянов expressed his gratitude for the reception and provided a detailed introduction to KSPEU's program offerings, educational features, and other basic information. He expressed the hope that this visit would mark the beginning of substantive cooperation, including academic exchanges and faculty or student mobility. During their visit, President Aбдуллазянов and his delegation also toured the university's Engineering Training Center, student dormitories, and canteens. They spoke highly of the university's practical teaching philosophy and comprehensive logistical support system.
This visit enhanced mutual trust between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for their cooperation.
